Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council has done a survey among 1,300 consumers about social media and the report shows that 65 percent of the survey respondent engage social media such as Facebook for games, contests and promotions. More than half of the respondents (55%) are using social media to learn about new products. This indicates social media is one of good platform to market your products or services to the target customers.
The penetration of social media among the consumers is very higher and only 4 percent of the survey participants are not using social media at all.
